Word of mouth referral, options at booking were good and enticing. We stayed in Venice a couple days before and loved seeing the city. We were not sure what to expect to check in and it was very smooth. Would recommend going early to avoid lines. Room was ready by 2 pm or so after we had our first meal on board. They do take your passports at embarkation which we were not expecting so make sure to take pics or make copies of them just in case. Nice to be able to tip ahead so we did not have to work about any tipping on board. We did leave our porter a little extra b/c he was so amazing. Activities on board were great. Pool was not the greatest - would have expected at least one more pool. Nice slide etc for kids but not enough room to swim for adults. We did see one show but would have liked to see more but there was no time. Special dining was amazing and would highly recommend. Santorini was supposed to be on our port list (one of main reasons we booked this one) and they changed it several months prior. I called to ask why and they could not give me a reason. I was VERY disappointed about that but nothing we could do. They replaced it with Olympia Greece which was again disappointing compared to Santorini. Croatia was amazing and we should have had more time there!
