This cruise was chosen for the Baltic ports one we havn`t done before the ship was bigger than we have been on before consequently restaurant and mdr were packed at all the ports of call and leaving for shore and returning could be lengthy , We found the shore excursions expensive especially Copenhagen where there was a difference of $10 per person between the big red bus services.
st.petersberg was the exception as you didn't have to have a visa if you took the ships tours. We would have preferred another stop in the Baltic Poland Germany or Sweden Rather than Zeebrugge which is only across the channel from the UK.
The crew were great very polite and entertaining as were the shows very professional I also liked the lectures on sea days. My biggest problem was with other passengers going into the buffet mdr without sanitizing their hands even though staff were at the entrances. and our big bug bare was on Formal nights where a majority of people dressed formally but we had people turn up in scruff order which we thought was not in keeping with the evening on cunard and p&o you would be asked not to enter the mdr it seemed to be mainly N&S Americans that failed to dress formally, if formal dress is not compulsory why have it it would save passengers a fortune in baggage weight and clothing. It was a good cruise but unless I get a really good deal I will not be using RC again.
Normal inside cabin kept to high standard by our cabin staff.
