We were on our honeymoon---second marriage---and he'd never been there. I am a silver Lattitudes member. We spent the first night at the Ashton, courtesy of the cruise ship package, Myseriously, our reservation had bee changed form the Marriott and the booking agent assured me it was a better hotel. It wasn''t.
Getting to the hotel was difficult. Some people were allowed to put their carryons under the bus and others weren't. We weren't No helpt getting it on either, although I limp when I walk and clearly needed help. Three attendents. No assistance.
Next day, we were in the Lattitudes Priority Boarding line, when one rep mysteriously left. A supervisor came over and tried to get an adjoining agent to help. He refused. They got into it verbally. We stood and waited while most others who weren't priority got on the ship.
Very small. Cleaning was okay but turndown service was not always there. He was an early afternoon cleaner, which didn't always work for us. The closet has a strange shelf in the back, where things fall down and some strange wire baskets on the right that give you less floor space. Balcony is small but I liked the chairs with footstools.
