Ship is overwhelming! Cruise days are great but can be very windy on top side so may want to buy&bring towel clips for lounge chairs. If you are new to Downy wrinkle free spray, you should try it for your clothes! CABIN: 2 large water bottles are in your room..these are not free but nothing says that. Each one is at least $5 and will be charged to your room if you drink it. Balcony cabin is spacious, but may want to bring extension cord if you need something plugged in by your bedside. DINING: Loved food..Dining room choices great--don't be afraid to order 2 of anything you want! No dark beer option in dining room so always went by Globe & Atlas to pick up 2 and took with us. Other free venues also very tasty! Don't miss Sorrento's pizza, central park roast beef sandwiches and Windjammer breakfast choices. ENTERTAINMENT: Don't miss the amazing dive shows! All shows are excellent quality but we did not care at all for Cats...not that interesting. PORTS: St. Maarten..loved airport beach..not thru ship--taxi round trip $16 per person, 2 chairs/umbrella $20 for day. Previous trip did snorkeling excursion on the Mirabella catamaran and it was well worth the money! Puerto Rico: Walked to Fort San Felipe del Morro..about 30 minute mostly uphill hike. Need at least 2 hours to really see the Fort. Lots of walking. Ate mofongo at Barrachina in San Juan near Fort San Felipe del Morro -- we ordered 1 mofongo and 1 other entrée and shared them. Plenty of food for 2 or 3!! LABADEE: Buy your clamshell thru online excursion for Labadee as soon as you can...sell out quick, not available on island! We had to wait in line for Dragon's Tail Coaster, but found out if you schedule a specific time then you go to the front of the line with no waiting. Will do that next time!! Drink packages not honored off ship at Labadee. We filled up our empty water bottles with soda on ship and carried them with us and packed pastries from Windjammer in plastic zip bags brought from home. Wish I had snagged a few cookies too..picnic lunch only had cake choices.

PHOTOS: If traveling with another couple or two, best to buy $199 portfolio package on day 1 or 2. Make sure you get your pictures taken every chance..get off boat together to have group shots as well as your individual pictures, then share group shots with others. We usually buy pixs of each port and formal nights so just those cost $125-$150. The $199 special allows you to get every single picture that anyone in your room is in which is usually 12-18 pictures at the very least! Advertised as digital photos, but really mean either digital photo or printed photo. but if you ask can get both digital disk and printed photos for $100 more.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D8

Adequate ship room with couch area. Only plugin is by mirror..none bedside or bathroom. If traveling with adjacent room, can request balcony be opened. Plenty of bathroom storage for personal items--small shelves and cabinet. Saw magnetic write and wipe board on exterior door to let others in group leave message or let them know where you are.

Port Reviews

Labadee

Did not want bungalow but did not see online reservation for clamshell. Must reserve online or you won't get one..limited amount and they sell out fast! Make sure to reserve a specific time for coaster so you can go to the front of the wait line. Waterslide way overpriced even though you have unlimited rides!!! Have to help yourself along on slide and it took us about 45 min to wait and slide one time!
