Cabin: Deluxe Stateroom with Balcony and Bath/Shower

Chose this cruise for the itinerary as we had never been to the Baltic and it was on Arcadia which last year our 14 nighter on her was very good with no complaints at all.

The itinerary was excellent as was embarkation and debark. Cabin steward, though rushed off his feet, did a wonderful job but even he admitted that 18 cabins (12 when he first started with P&O) meant he didn't have enough time to do the job absolutely properly.

That's the good aspect of our cruise. Things have now changed considerably with just about every aspect of the operation of Arcadia having suffered cutbacks.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Stateroom with Balcony and Bath/Shower

Steward did his best but was really struggling through lack of time due to having to look after too many rooms. Room was not presented exceptionally well with stains to settee and other areas. The balcony was reasonable until the sanding and painting team left a disgusting mess and paint splashes to glass door and areas of the floor.

Port Reviews

Skagen

So clean. Not much to do in town but worth the visit.

Kiel

Lovely lunch ashore, walk round town and back to quayside to Tall Ships festival. Had a great day.

Stockholm

Good city to visit with classical buildings and a nice day out.

Helsinki

Good market and Cathedral, worth the wander.

Copenhagen

Enjoyed our day out and walked for miles. Good port to visit.
