Emerald Princess Cruise Review by dragon_J
- Sail Date: July 2017
- Destination: Alaska
- Cabin Type: Oceanview (obstructed view)
It seems like we were on a budget cruise about to go bankrupt. The buffet breakfast was the same everyday. The dinners were nothing to brag about. It seems the cruise was more tailored to 60+ senior with diet restrictions. Buffet selection is limited. Meatloaf and Ham are not considered crave meats at the carving table. Breakfast make to order omelet can be better. They leave the napkin and utensils on the table which is nice and servers are always around to serve your drinks. That's is when they do care and half of the time, they ignore you and just clean tables which they are efficient at.
This is the first cruise show that I actually fall asleep while watching. The comedian was half descent but don't expect Broadway style shows like on other cruise lines. Even the Carnival line had more entertaining shows. There are just too many dislikes to mention so take this line at your own discretion.
My final comment: If you are going to Alaska, take another line like RCL or NCL.
