We selected this cruise because of the long list of ports of call. The opportunity to visit so many countries and still have a few days to relax at sea was very appealing and the cruise did not disappoint. Our favorite destinations were Rome and Santorini, where local guides did an amazing job introducing the history and culture in a fun and friendly way. The shore excursion team provided great service and offered a lot of choices for experiences at each port. We traveled with our teen daughter who was less than satisfied with the teen offerings, but still found lots of ways to stay busy during sea days. While the ship is showing it's age, the crew did their absolute best to keep the ship clean and to make sure that we were comfortable and entertained. Highly recommend the ship and itinerary for anyone looking for a family friendly way to get an introduction to the history and culture of the Mediterranean.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

The room is a bit weathered but the balcony provided a nice escape from the crowds when at sea. Perfect location towards the front of the ship and the forward elevators which are always less crowded. The cabin was sufficient for two adults and one teen. The pull down bed was perfect for our daughter who loved having a little loft space all to herself. Stateroom attendant was the best! Could use new couch and carpets but overall a positive experience.

Barcelona

There is so much to do in Barcelona that you need at least five days to do it justice. If you only have a day or two then get hop on hop off bus tickets to cover some of the highlights. You can combine your tickets with passes to certain attractions like Sagrada Familia (a must visit) or Park Guell. Buy tickets at least one day in advance to avoid lines.
