Being a Latitudes Rewards member embarkation was rather easy. My son and his family were in the Haven and tried to have us (myself and his mother in law) board with them because they did not want to leave us alone. We are old enough to take care of ourselves. Anyway, love, love, love the Breakaway. Our grandson who is 12 was in the kids club and really enjoyed himself. He made friends and they all had a ball. You always know where your kids are, they can't go anywhere off the boat without you. We rarely saw him--maybe at dinner a few times. This was our 4th time sailing on Norwegian and actually, the most disappointing--room wise and customer service wise. The food as always was excellent--we may have had to wait 20 minutes at any of the restaurants which is not a lot. We saw Burn the Floor and Rock of Ages which were excellent and possibly Broadway caliber. We enjoyed our stay in Bermuda--it was my first time there. The beaches were wonderful. Shopping was great. We found that the excursions were a bit overpriced, especially since we are retired and on fixed incomes. Casino was wonderful, especially since I won. My issue with the Casino is that they did not use my room key to rate me. Now, on to my complaints--there were no beach towels in our room as there had been in past years, there were no wash cloths or floor mats either--these had to be requested and when received it was not by a pleasant employee. There were no stirrers for our coffee/tea, coffee was not replaced. One of the bartenders at the bar between Savor and Taste was very rude when told he gave one of us a wrong drink--grabbed the glass and threw it in the sink. The bartenders at the Maltings Bar outside were very pleasant and surprisingly never got a drink order wrong. We were allowed to disembark through the Haven with the rest of our family without any issues. My family and I will be travelling again next year out of NYC but on the Escape and are very excited. Despite our negative experiences we still like Norwegian.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BC

I covered this in the above statement. The stateroom was perfect for myself and my friend, storage was adequate and we found the perfect storage spot for our luggage--between the curtains and balcony doors giving us more room. While stateroom was clean we were disappointed in the service received. No beach/pool towels, no coffee/tea stirrers, coffee not replenished, no bath mats, no wash cloths. When we called to have everything replenished there was an attitude which does not give us good customer service.

Port Reviews

King's Wharf

We did no excursions as we like to explore on our own. Loved the island and the people.
