This seven-night sailing on Escape was our sixth cruise and our first on Norwegian. We've sailed once on Disney Dream and four times on Royal Caribbean vessels. For 2017, we decided to try something new and, for the most part, it was a success. We traveled as a family of three (mom, dad, and 12-year-old daughter). Mom and daughter would happily cruise NCL again; dad just isn't sold. His bottom-line assessment: "Norwegian's service was production oriented ('Get the job done as fast as possible no matter what!') rather than client centric."

Here's a quick summary of what we liked and what we didn't:

PROS of Escape

Cabin Review

Mid-ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

Clean. Not overly spacious. Storage wasn't particularly well designed. Had shelves instead of drawers, which was a bit odd.
