The reason that we booked this cruise was because we had never been to the Baltic before and the ports of call all looked very interesting. The opportunity to stay for 3 days in St Petersburg was the icing on the cake. Embarkation in Amsterdam was the smoothest that we have ever experienced, very fast and efficient. The cabins were ready early in the afternoon and the steward introduced himself and showed us around as soon as we walked in the door. He immediately knew our names and was wonderful throughout the entire cruise. The food and service in each of the venues that we tried was excellent; Main dining room, buffet, pool grill and Tuscan grill. Bar service was great and we met some of the waiters that we have had during previous cruises. The crew all seem to care that you are having an excellent time! The cruise director, Ben, was great and remembered us from our recent Australia cruise, which was remarkable. The ship is still in excellent condition and we would recommend it to anyone without reservation.
