This was our 20th cruise. Previously we have cruises with Carnival, Celebrity, RCL and NCL. We were traveling with another couple that had never cruised so we selected this primarily based on cost.

The Legend is an older ship but overall in good shape. Staff was friendly and helpful but to be fair we are pretty low maintenance. One problem with a ship this size is there are no large public areas. This makes things very congested when they have activities during sea days. Trivia and such.

Embarkation: Smooth for the most part. Our ticket said arrive between 11:00 - 11:30. Checked in fine but sat around and couldn't board to ship until 1:00. I'm sure there a reason for this I just don't know what it might be.

Cabin 4D

Cabin was fine no problems. Although booked as an inside this cabin actually has French doors that open with no balcony. Good way to get some air into the cabin. Obstructed view but we could at least see what the weather was like. Cabin Steward asked when we wanted our room cleaned. Morning, evening or both. My wife said morning. I'm not sure if this is normal but the first time we've been asked. Most other cruise lines just offer a daytime cleaning and turn down service.
