This is my third RC cruise after the Freedom and Oasis. I knew this ship was an older ship but had a multimillion dollar upgrade in just the last 8 months. The interior public areas of the ship looked updated and had newer finishes. Service was great in the bars, but spotty outside of that. Food was average/expecting of RC.

We boarded the ship in record time. We were on deck 10 room 1666, and were able to board at 1230 and walked right through security and zero line onto the ship. Our room was ready at 2pm after a snack in the windjammer.

Upon walking to the room, down the hallway, we immediately noticed a foul rotten cabbage smell in the hallway, it was really bad. It was not smelly at all in our cabin, but a faint linger of the smell was in our bathroom and never left all week. Keeping the bathroom door shut was a fix, but you were quickly reminded when you had to enter the bathroom. The room was clean but extremely outdated after the last two RC cruises. Faded out curtains and window curtains hanging with 90's outdated patterns and coral colors that clashed. The bed was hard as a rock as well, nothing like I remember from the last two cruises.

Port Reviews

Curacao

Crowded downtown area with lots of locals right off the ship.. lots of shopping, but also lots of rough looking locals in the alley ways that tend to try to come up and talk to you.
