we chose the cruise because of the destinations... really in depth of Norway plus stops way up in Russia. This was our first time ... and we expected it to be comparable to Regent Silver Seas... we wont do this again ...

of course there were some incredible staff members like our Butler Dipak, and Marlon in the BAR .... but overall very disappointing. I did suggest on the mid cruise eval... that someone should be a secret shopper in the very tiny laundry ... i never heard a positive word. shocking that there were only three washers and dryers and not laundromat size... and very tempermental... it could take 90 minutes to dry your clothes which really backed up the place and really it should tell you something if you need a drip towel on the floor... and no chairs to sit and wait ... REGENT has laundry on almost every floor... chairs and TV... so you can keep laundry door closed and not disturb guests.

the food was very good... but disappointed that every night it was the same OLD RICE CHEX mix in the bar... and the appetizers always came COLD... we never did drink our wine and vodka in our suite as there was no appetizer list to pre order and have at your room like on REGENT... Read more
