Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

I have always wanted to visit Scandinavia and particularly St Petersburg. The cruise was even better than I had hoped for and I was sad to leave the ship at the end. My favourite places actually turned out to be Oslo, Helsinki and Bruges (we have decided to spend a long week-end in Bruges as we were so impressed with its architecture and mediaeval beauty - oh, and the chocolate of course!).

The food on board was delicious, our stateroom with balcony was perfect and there seemed to be loads of storage space even for the contents of my 3 huge suitcases.

The staff can't do enough for you and on day 10 we received a complimentary plate of cakes from the Room Service Manager.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Our cabin was on Deck 8, mid-ship which we thought was a perfect location. Almost no ship motion felt or engine heard. The whole corridor was nice and quiet. The cabin itself had plenty of storage even for my 3 huge suitcases and my husband's more meagre attire! The bed was wonderful - very big and just the right mattress for us with our achy bones, the duvet always felt like it had just the right warmth. We had a sofa and a good size telly to watch. My only comment would be that a coffee table would have been so useful as we had to rest cups on the vanity unit chair but really, a very minor matter considering everything else.
