We chose this cruise as it was the only 7 night itinerary leaving from Stockholm. Living in Scotland, we did not want to travel to Southampton to sail the Baltics. It was my 7th cruise, 2nd on Celebrity, and my friends first cruise. We are two females in our late fifties. We stayed 2 nights in Stockholm prior to the cruise. On embarkation day We travelled to the port on the number 76 bus from Gamlamstan Stan. There was about a ten minute walk to the ship which was well sign posted. We arrived at the port about 10.45am and were on board enjoying our mimosa by 11.15am. We then enjoyed a coffee and pastry in Cafe al Bacio before exploring the ship from top to bottom. We went for some lunch in the buffet and on leaving at 1.30pm the announcement was made that the cabins were ready. We had chosen a 2C balcony cabin with an obstructed view, number 6305. The obstruction was the roof of Blu restaurant. You look directly out but couldn't look straight down to the sea. We were very pleased with our cabin choice. It had a larger balcony and we were the last cabin on the port side so it was very quiet. Our room steward Satish kept it immaculate. When we arrived the beds were already separated. Due to the weather we didn't use the balcony much, however it was enclosed so we could sit on it when it was too windy to sit on deck. We ate every dinner, 3 breakfasts and 1 lunch in the MDR. We did select dining and only once had to wait for a table, the first evening chic night. We usually ate around 8pm We had the classic drink package included in our fare, which we upgraded to premium. Our favourite bar was the Martini Bar, where we were entertained by the bartenders. We also used Cafe al Bacio twice daily. Helsinki and Riga ports were some distance from town so we used the ships shuttle bus. In Stockholm we used the number 76 bus and Talliinn was an easy walk to the Old Town. In St Petersburg we did the one day deluxe tour with SPB tours who were excellent. We were lucky and were through Russian immigration in under 30 minutes, although we waited until the initial rush had died down. We had an afternoon flight so had an 8.45am disembarkation time. Cabins were to be vacated by 8am, however we just took our carry ons with us when we went to breakfast in the MDR at 7.30am. This was my second Celebrity cruise, first on an S class ship, and my friends first cruise, however we wouldnt hesitate in sailing on Silhouette again.

Beautiful ship with amazing staff
