This is definitely our favorite Princess Ship because of it's size and the small number of passengers.

Embarkation in Venice was extremely quick and easy. We were staying at a small hotel for a couple days before the cruise began. We took the Valporetta to Santa Lucia station, walked over the bridge, took the people mover to the port and basically walked right on the ship about noon.

Originally the itinerary had an overnight in Istanbul. However due to all the recent issues, Montenegro and Rhodes were substituted. We could not have been happier with the new ports as we had not been to either. I was a little concerned traveling this late in the season, but we generally had beautiful weather. We did encounter some rough weather and had 1 port first rerouted and then cancelled.
