With the exception of the "obstructive" view from the balcony, this was an excellent cruise. We were with our 2 adult daughters on their first cruise. They had a ball, both on the ship and on the ships tours.

Embarkation in Seattle was smooth, but disembarkation was a zoo. Getting off the ship and getting our luggage was fine, but once outside the terminal, it was a mob scene. There was another ship (RCI) in port. This cruise terminal can not handle two ships at once. Not enough space on shore.

Otherwise, the cruise was all that you could ask for. The crew were great and the service was excellent. Food in the main dining room was above average. We had one meal in Murano that was sub-par. We ordered the lobster, it was prepared table side. It was tough. The lobster in the main dining room several nights later was far superior.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2C

Cabin 2C

The cabin was typical in size and comfort. The balcony was worse than "obstructed" It was large from the door to the balcony rail. But the deck extended another 10 feet beyond the rail. While in port, crew members were frequently outside the balcony.
