We chose this cruise based upon the date of travel and itinerary. As a reference point for this review we have only cruised once before and that was on Princess.
Overall we had a good time. The embarkation was slightly crowded and the lines were fairly significant. However, the everyone we encountered was very friendly. Upon boarding the ship everyone was given a glass of champagne and a DJ was performing in the main lobby. We started the cruise with lunch at the buffet and sat on the Sunset Deck for a good view upon departure.
The rooms were ready at 1:00 pm sharp. Our balcony room (6229) was nice and we were pleased with the size of the bathroom. However, storage was difficult to use since most was over the bed. We were very happy that the a/c worked well. We kept the drapes shut when not in the room and that helped keep the room very cool.

Good room. View was perfect with no obstruction. A/C worked very well if we kept the drapes shut during the day. Room is near elevators. The only noise was from the bands and DJs on deck 3 as the music came straight up. This did not bother us. Room was in good location for dining and cafe.
