I have a family of six and this was our first cruise. I took the online advice of preparing my paperwork beforehand and presenting it at check in. Our check in at the terminal went quickly and smoothly with all papers in hand. The attendant was wonderfully pleasant and greeted us with a great smile. Upon boarding we were greeted by an awesome interior view of the common area and upon walking around found several other areas that were just as beautiful. The ship's food was plentiful and had a great variety of choices. The service was spot on. Our room attendant, Inyuman, always had our rooms in order, always greeted us with a smile and always left a special animal figure of towels and wash cloths in our rooms. We wished he had lead a class on how to make them but it wasn't on the itinerary so he just took a moment and showed us how to do one on our third night. The shows were spectacular. The dancers and singers really showed a lot of energy, drive and pizazz in their performances. Team trivia and individual activities were great too. Our favorite was the Star Wars trivia and then Sudoku tournament. We didn't win but it was fun participating as a family and the leaders really made them fun and inviting. Essentially there was always activities going on somewhere onboard the ship or on shore, your only dilemma was choosing which to attend because quite a few overlapped. Our only disappointment was that there weren't enough activities for teens to enjoy and the arcade wasn't as advanced or equipped as we thought. Some games didn't work or didn't work well because they'd freeze-up in mid play then continue. Still they did have teen social times and games like foosball and trivia. Air hockey would've been a great game to add to their inventory as well. The dining room experience whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner was awesome! If anyone ever tells you you'll never be hungry during your cruise, they're not lying. Food is always available and in abundance. So don't worry about what you will eat, there is something for everyone at any given time. Also, if you only eat dinner in the main dining hall, you will find some of the most professional and kind waiters and waitresses in the world. They truly understand service and keeping their guests happy and full and though they may be slowed at times from the number of guests during the dining hour or the meal preparation time, they quickly find other alternatives to keep you satisfied until your meal arrives. Should you get Klein as your waiter, he truly has a lot of class and can make some awesome suggestions for meals. Now for the ports of call, my family and I chose to tour them on our own, but you may choose to take shore excursions, either way is just as enjoyable, however you're limited to times when you take the shore excursions in groups rather than by your own time and you may miss a thing or two. We saw a lot of things and got to visit a lot of shops on our own schedule until time for departure. Nassau, Cococay, and Key West were awesome to visit and tour. The weather was awesome and it only rained once on our next to last day for just a few minutes even. The people were friendly and not too pushy on trying to get us to take their cab tours, which was understandable, but we are a family of walkers so it wasn't too hard a choice. We got to see a lot but may in the future take one of those tours just to see what we missed. Overall this vacation was by far the best we've ever taken including our Disney trip 7 years ago. We can only look forward now to our next venture but highly recommend Royal Caribbean for newbies and veterans alike. They truly make every effort to make your stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible.

Cabin Review

Large Inside Stateroom

Cabin L

Our cabin was just the right size for our needs and always in order. Our stateroom attendant consistantly met our needs and kept our room in great looking and working order. For 2 assigned to a room this size, you won't feel crowded, but any more than that and you'll have to upsize. Upon leaving we got the chance to see a balcony view room and believe we may upgrade on our next cruise.

Port Reviews

Key West

The historical sites and local venue are awesome. Had a great time walking the island and visiting the shops. The butterfly conservatorium is a must see.

Nassau

Beautiful island to visit and the people are very pleasant. Next time we'll visit Atlantis, it looked adventurous from afar.

Miami

Beautiful city to visit and tour, but trraffic is horrific. There's lots to see, great shopping and a variety food cuisines. There's always something going on here.
