Sail Date: Jun 2017

This was our go at cruising and we loved pretty well every minute of it. From the moment we arrived at Manchester Airport TUI seemed to be in complete control of every detail. Our only slight complaint was the queueing to get on the ship in the first place and also the waiting between vacating our cabin on the day transferred to our hotel for the second week and being able to board the transfer coach; these were, however, very minor grumbles. Most of the guests were either British, Irish or Scottish! Most of the on board staff were excellent in every way although the ladies at the reception desk could smile a little more! Our cabin stewardess and steward were nothing short of outstanding - she even made us two extra monkeys out of towels and hung them in the window so that we could identify our cabin when we returned on the tender from San Remo. Brilliant!! An absolute star and worth every penny of the tip that we gave to both her and the steward at the end of the week! Give them a pay rise! Our window cabin was on Deck Two and was more than adequate for the seven days that we were on the ship. It was clean, comfortable with plenty of storage. Couldn't see the point of a balcony as the ship sails overnight and we got off at each port anyway.

The ship was very comfortable and clean and the choice of food was excellent; we did not use the two a la carte restaurants (Surf and Turf and Kora La) on this occasion as there was such a lot of variety in the 47', 47' Gallery and Islands restaurants.

Entertainment was very good most of the time with the show gang working very hard for two shows per night. Quite spectacular show bar/theatre.

Cabin Review

Cabin Outside

Super little cabin with a large window. Low down on Deck Two so on two occasions we flung the curtains open to find either people on the quayside or the tenders lining up. Just added to the fun.
