We wanted to try cruising to celebrate our wedding anniversary, so we chose a short 4 night cruise. After researching, we decided on Royal Caribbean since it has a very good review. We took the internet package using the onboard credit. However on the last day of cruising, internet was down so we received a refund for that day.

The check-in process was smooth although there was a long line of passengers. The ship's departure time was 4pm, but we checked-in at 12 noon to take advantage of the buffet lunch. There were too many people at the small pool. I particularly don't like the pool setting. It's too small for a big ship and the depths are 1.5 ft on one end 5 ft 11 in on the other end. There was no depth of 3 ft. This makes the kids go the the deep end (with floats) and we had to hang on to the edge since we're shorter than most. Because of this we are not going to cruise on this ship anymore. Our next cruise will definitely be a bigger ship with a bigger pool as well as an adult pool with no kids allowed.

Getting off the ship was a nightmare. Long lines on 2 floors to get off. The dining experience was excellent though. Food was really good. Anyway for the formal night, not many people are dressed up. I felt overdressed since there were people wearing shorts and t-shirts. They shouldn't be allowed wearing those on formal nights. The can always go to the buffet dinner wearing those. The shows were really entertaining. I love the juggling act (Scott) as well as the stand-up comedian Steve White. We participated in the cha-cha dance class as well as dancing.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin K

Very small interior cabin. We had to place the luggage under the bed. However it was clean and has all the amenities.

Port Reviews

Nassau

It's not my type of island although the beach is excellent with clear water. The locals are not the friendly type. They just don't know how to sell, no friendly sales. Maybe they just choose their customers by the appearance.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

The exploration tower is nice.
