I had traveled with Tauck Tours in Europe and choose their land and sea cruise to Alaska. I was nervous about the Princess Cruise, but Tauck sent me assurances Tauck guest would me "a group on its own" for the most part." Of our 39 guests, I imagine 70-80% came back sick with a cough and sneezes. 100% of our group of 4 came home sick. We returned to Vancouver last July 1 and I have been sick for 11 days. My husband is also sick. I never saw anyone cleaning the railing or elevators. Princess turned the "Any-Time dining room" into a Flee market - $10 Chinese made items - twice during our 3 days at sea!!! The muster drill was a joke. We had to walk down 5 flights of stair to an interior corridor. I wouldn't know how to get off the ship. After a hour of muddling around inefficiently, we were told to follow the crew if there was an emergency.

If you love being sick, if you love terrible food, and you love to buy key chains and purses from China (don't worry, they also set up tables though-out the ship) and be bothered by having at least 6 pictures of each of the 2800 passengers taken, this is the cruise for you.

I recommend, before you go, to schedule a doctor's appointment for a day or two after you return home. Or call the CDC. You will be sick.
