This was our first cruise and I wasn't sure what to expect. The cabin was fine, and the staff very friendly. The food was not very good with little selection for kids. Not many activities for kids of any age. We mostly sat at the pool. My youngest(9) did the water slide, but in the heat the deck was too hot to wait in line, since you could not wear water shoes on the slide. She also went to the kids club, but it was just board games. I would have liked to see a semi-educational program about the ocean, marine life, water conservation and protection, instead of a babysitter. The pools were very small, which I had read prior to going, so that was no surprise. There were many lunch options each day, but the lunch times were limited. The dinner options were very limited. I understand they tried to make dinner "fancy" or special, but the offerings were not kid friendly. The kid menu only had a few items, and they were the same everyday. We only ate in the dinning room the first nigh, then opted for the buffet the other nights. Buffet offered no kid options. The ship also has a cigar bar/lounge, which is located in the middle of the ship (deck 5), making majority of the ship smell like smoke. You also had to walk thru this lounge to get to many things, including dinner, and the teen club.

I will cruise again, but will try out a different ship.
