We choose this cruise based on the itinerary, so we could stay onboard for the following cruise. We expected it to be good, based on past Azamara experiences, but it was unexpectedly better. Great weather, and the lengths of stay in the various ports was "just right".
We loved the white night deck party, and really enjoyed the Aqualina restaurant. My wife says the chocolate soufflé was her new favorite dessert. The crew was unfailingly attentive, and friendly. Minor misunderstanding about the shuttle bus from pier to city center in Honfluer (that was not Azamara's fault).
Going through the lock into the Amsterdam harbor was fascinating, but I was amazed at how long the approach from the lock to city center actually was. Location of docking in Hamburg was terrific-- very close to city hall, and the approach along the river was pretty interesting-- easy to see why Hamburg has been an important port for so long.
Accessible cabin worked very well for my wife, especially the bathroom. Shower was curtained, and drained without leaking onto the floor of the rest of the bathroom. Plenty of "grab bars".
