Just returned from my 16 night cruise on the Sirena. It was fabulous. Great service, food, accommodations, entertainment. I had sailed Athens to Rome last year on Sirena. It was great to be back on a familiar ship. The staff is wonderful, friendly and accommodating. The food great. The two specialty restaurants (Red Ginger and Tuscan Steak) were very special. Particularly great service and attention there. But any restaurant was also great. The entertainment was varied - from modern, to classical, to comedy, The production cast of six young entertainers was exceptional and glad they had four shows. I did not take any offered shore excursions and went ashore and toured around on my own with three friends I was traveling with. A couple of days we encountered rough seas and the staff was very solicitous, always available to assist at the buffet with plates and an arm to get you to your table. I would definitely return to Oceania and Sirena.

Deluxe Ocean View

Cabin C1

We had a nice cabin - what I expected as a return cruiser. Having the opportunity to upgrade to a veranda room was great. It was nice to sit out and enjoy the views with a glass of wine.

Port Reviews

Malaga

Toured around on our own. It was easy from the ship.

Cartagena (Spain)

Again able to tour around on our own.

Barcelona

I did the Hop On Hop Off bus located close to the ship. I got to see a lot of the area.

Marseille

We booked an independent tour with a six passenger van. Great day in Provence. Got to see a lot of the countryside including the lavender fields. Beautiful area. .

Saint-Tropez

The only port we had to use the tender. Again it was easy to tour around on our own.
