This cruise should've been better. I'm a loyal RCCL crown and anchor member. With this last cruise I became a Diamond member, which demonstrates my loyalty. However, the nickel-and-dime mentality of Carnival Cruise lines must be seeping into Royal Caribbean because they want to charge you for everything. For example, there was a guacamole demonstration class that should be free and it costs $30. For $30 I expect to eat a good meal, not guacamole and chips. Also, the dining experiences should have been better since this cruise costs way more than NCL or Carnival, yet it was terrible. Even the specialty restaurants were terrible. And you pay handsomely for those. $50 per person. I can get a better price on food locally at home. The cleanliness aboard the cruise was nonexistent. If you were by the pool area, bottles of beer and empty glasses were strewn all over the place and it was 30 minutes or so before you even saw a waiter or a person to pick up or even offer you a drink. They are relying too much on their drink packages to make money for them, but what they fail to tell you is that you have to get up every time you want a drink because you will not see a waiter anywhere, like you used to, especially by the pool area. So you have to stand at the bar waiting to order your drink and so are the other 6,000+ passengers.
Our attendant was very good.
This should be removed as a port of call. What a waste of time. We leave too late and leave too early to enjoy the only thing worth something on the island: Atlantis.
Been here numerous times. It's a nice place to shop and the beaches are pretty too.
Not much to do and see. We went to the beaches but the sand is black in some parts. Other areas don't look very safe.
