I think it's really important to share information, but understandably everyone can rate things different depending on personal preferences, so I try and be as objective as possible. I started my cruise a bit disappointed in comparison to the two Royal Caribbean Bermuda cruises I've taken since 2015 however at the end of my cruise, I was very happy with my overall experience. Short list of positives and negatives:

Negatives: No greeting upon boarding - boarding was quick but very un-eventful, the pool was packed corner to corner and for this 50 something cruiser, I wasn't really interested in the pulsating music and frat-party atmosphere at sail-off. The pool and lounge chairs were packed whenever we were at sea with people putting towels down at the crack of dawn. Promenade Shopping really didn't exist in the sense of a Main Street USA environment - the shops were just "there". I enjoyed walking along the Promenade on Royal Caribbean's Liberty of Seas and Anthem of Seas. Could stop in a sandwich shop or pizza shop any time of day or night, but on The Breakaway it was really the cafeteria style Cafe on Deck 15 or O'Sheehans Pub on Deck 7, but my roommate was told she could not take food out of O'Sheehans so that was a bust.

Positives: Our cabin was on 14 so we could run up or down the stairs right outside our room - our Cabin Steward - ELAN was the best I've ever had. He knew our names from day #1 and always greeted us. On one of my RC cruises, I don't even remember seeing our Steward. The dining options were really nice and I particularly liked being able to walk outside the bars/restaurants right to the outside decks and sit and have a drink. Towards the end of our cruise we were at Burn the Floor which was excellent and the Cruise Director brought out all the officers and what seemed like half the entire ships crew - that was so festive and fun and made me forgive not being greeted upon boarding. The ATRIUM always has something going on and it is so central, it's hard to miss noticing whatever was happening in the Atrium as you can peer down from Deck 7 to the Atrium on Deck 6.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BC

Cabin was AFT with balcony and was central for us to go up/down stairs or elevators. The Cafe was right above us. The inside of the room is smaller than ones I've had in the past, but it was well-maintained and our Steward was excellent.
