Chose cruise because of length of trip, size of ship as we prefer small ships, and the itinerary. Fantastic experience with stunning scenery, lots of wildlife and all on well-organised shore excursions. Seeing the Hubbard Glacier so close was extra special. Excellent cruise director, great entertainment and lectures. The crew were great, giving a superb service. Our only complaint on board was how cold it was. Not referring to the Alaskan weather, but the freezing cold temperature in the public rooms on board. When we disembarked, one of our cases was damaged - the fabric was split and we were concerned about its security for our onward journeys. We reported the problem to the port agents, SMS (Guest Port Services). A written report was completed and we were told we would hear within a few days. That was on 20th June. Since then, we have exchanged several emails with the SMS Seattle port supervisor, who in turn has been in contact with Oceania. We have had no contact whatsoever from Oceania. We have also sent an enquiry direct to Oceania, using their online contact service and still have received no reply. It is now 8th July. In this, they have really let themselves down and tarnished our view. We understand that things go wrong, but expect the company to put things right.

Cabin A1 7025
Good position, well equipped, poor quality of chocolates.
The cabin was a bit shabby especially round the door to the balcony.
