We wanted to hit the Norwegian Fjords, and to experience the "northern" lights... didn't factor in the sun never setting for 4 days we were north of the Arctic Circle so no northern lights...

Cruise was great, food was good, occasionally you would notice the Crown Princess is not brand spanking new, but she is still a great ship. If you're not paying attention to fine details, you'd not notice the Crown Princess is an "older" ship, everything functions as it should.

We Had a balcony cabin but didn't use the balcony as much as other cruises, simply because of the lower temps. Not bitter cold, but cold enough you don't wanna sit on a balcony if the ship is moving. In ports, esp if the sun was shining on our side of the ship, it was worth being outside. Read more
