This review is for our sailing on the Divina, June 24 to July 1st. We booked an Aurea Experience.

It is with much regret that I feel the need to write this review and sadly I have to say that it was my least favorite cruise experience to date. We are seasoned cruisers and have also sailed in Europe, and the Mediterranean with other cruise lines. So we are used to that European feel. This was our first experience with MSC.

Let me start by saying that cruising is one of our favorite vacation venues. It allows us to relax and decompress from very stressful careers. In the past, our experience on cruise vacations has been nothing short of exceptional. The environment was both relaxing and stimulating. The cruise environment allows us to tailor our vacation to our needs/desires. We were very excited for our experience when we booked our cruise on MSC and we planned our vacation with the expectation that our week in the hands of MSC would be comparable to the experiences we had on past cruises. Unfortunately, this was simply not the case.
