It often felt like we were cattle instead of on vacation. Granted, it WAS fourth of July week so the ship was to capacity. The lines were incredibly long for any of the things that made the ship special like Ripcord, Northstar, bumper cars, flow rider, rock wall. We only got to do bumper cars after an hour wait. It didn't matter if we had a reservation or not at the main dining rooms, we still had to wait and wait to be seated. There was not enough selection of restaurants to eat at as part of the package, it always seemed like someone was trying to upsell us. The four main restaurants are actually only one, they share a common menu. Also, the times when the main dining rooms were open were way too short and breakfast ended too early for vacation. Getting on and off the ship was not an easy experience, whenever lots of people have to be corraled together you can bet they will be unhappy. There was also no place to find peace on the boat, I would have liked more yoga classes through the day, a meditation class, quiet areas (not just kid-free). Another outdoor pool would be great. The main pool area became something of a zoo, and the indoor pool areas were also crowded and the noise was unbearable.

What we loved:

staterooms and balconies were beautiful

King's Wharf

After walking around King's Warf for a bit (definitely find the homemade ice pop booth), we took a private taxi to Horseshoe Bay. The beach was truly exquisite especially to the far left where there were fewer people. After swimming for about an hour we were made to come out of the water because of Portuguese Man O War Jellyfish, many had been stung while we were there. More than a few washed up on the beach and they were fascinating to see. Because no one was in the water we got some gorgeous photographs.

On the second day, we stayed right in King's Warf and went to Snorkel Park Beach. Not at all lovely and everything from chairs to snorkel gear was rather expensive. People were piled on top of each other but if we swam out far enough if felt rather nice. My husband did spot some amazing fish while snorkeling and all-in-all it was a nice enough day. Would have been better though to get off the ship earlier and get ourselves out of town to one of the private beaches our driver told us about the day before.
