I had a great experience on my recent cruise. From embarkation in Miami to Disembarkation in Miami, it was great. I only have a few cons, but I will get to those. I think the cruise director "Matt" is the number one reason the experience was so top notch. He makes you want to have fun, even if you don't feel like doing so. His presence is soooo Big...that you can't help but get caught up in the wave. The crew was so amazing! I can only remember a few by name. I truly enjoyed Tommy while doing Karaoke. He made you feel like a star even when you sounded a mess. He was so funny and easy to get along with and has a great singing voice. The African American Comedian (I cant remember his name), had me choking....he was hilarious....we stood in the long, long, long lines each time he was performing...And Bradley....my my my...I loved him...the games: scavenger hunt, trivia and Yahtzee (all of which I participated in) was so much fun...his persona added that special touch....all the live shows were amazing and all the singers and dancers did a great job...the staff..from the servers, the cooks, the cleaners, room staff and everyone who participates in the experience was top notch..we won't mention the food...20lbs later...and I still am craving ice cream...our rooms were great and all of our needs were met...I got on the scary ride and thought I would die...but survived and an happy that I did it...I have traveled on several cruises and ships and I have to say this was the best. I would definitely cruise on Vista again.

My cons was the formal dining debacle. On the first night we waited in line about 2 hrs. It was so confusing for us and it seemed confusing for the staff. The whole vibrating/lightup thing was just horrible...ours never worked...we kept going up asking if we were called and kept being told no...only to find out we were called 30 minutes before. We chose not to do the evening dining again. Once inside and seated, it was top notch service and the food was great. I also have a problem with the slippery floor on the lido due to the water from the pool. It is soooo scary and dangerous. I know the floor will be wet, but I suggest putting some rubber mats or decals on the floor to keep people from falling. And the popcorn is GOD awful just awful. My biggest problem was the lines....the many many many lines...for food...for entertainment...for rides...on and off the ship...lines lines lines...something needs to be done...you spend more time waiting for something then enjoyment....
