This was our fifth cruise and our first at RCCL. In summary this is least enjoyable of the cruises we have taken.

Due to windy conditions, Ifly and Northstar were not running  the first sea day. We made reservations as soon as they were available so it was disappointing. To make it worse, we were not notified and there was no staff member at either station providing information.  We saw very limited spots for NorthStar available on the Royal IQ app and tried to rebook but we could not because the app indicated we already had a reservation when NorthStar was not even running! We were unable to cancel manually. We went to the customer service and waited on a long line to get that reservation cancelled. By that time, the spots that fit into our schedule were taken up.

On the last full day of our cruise, we woke up earlier than we wanted to for a character breakfast just to be told it was moved from Day 5 to Day 3.  They claimed a note was sent to our cabin. It was not!  In fact on the RoyalQ app and on the TV, our calendar was still showing our character breakfast reservation at 8am!

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Our group were spread across the midship on different levels. The cabinswere fine in general. Those on 7th floor had the undesirable view of lifeboats so get a higher floor if you want a better view
