Cabin: The Haven Forward-Facing Penthouse with Balcony

my wife and I chose this cruise for our 46th anniversary because it was out of n.y. and we had never cruised with Norwegian, only carnival and celebrity. We decided on this cruise about a month earlier and chose a mini suite since their was a limited amount of balcony cabins left. The next day after booking our trip n.c.l. emailed me about bidding on a haven upgrade.I did not tell the wife and bid just over the minimum bid. The next day they accepted my bid and it was one of the best choices I have ever made. Never have we been treated to such deferential treatment from embarkation to the disembarkation. The food in the haven restaurant is superb. We being first timers on Norwegian we did try 4 specialty restaurants and several of the complementary ones. The food in those was good with one exception. The cagney steak house was very disappointing except for the desert that presented a 7 layer cake thathad to be close to the best chocolate cake that trump served to president xi at Mar a Lago. I did mention the poor quality and displeasure of this steak to our concierge who told me he would talk to the chef but like sean spicer he never got back to me.Next time I will be taking all my meals in the haven.the entertainment was very entertaining and the unlimited drinking is only limited by individual tolerance. This cruise and the haven was fantastic but beware. Once you go haven you can never go back.

Cabin H7

beautiful cabin in the front of the ship with a long walk to the elevators but no problem for healthy adults.Would gladly book it again.
