Norwegian Sun Review

The food was a huge disappointment. They need to taste it before they serve it.

Very nice stateroom. Lots of room, lots of storage, very roomy. The TV didn't work well - we had to eventually have it replaced which took a lot of calls to guest services. It took hours for them to finally respond. Our steward was not attentive at all. He didn't even put towel animals on our bed each night. Our friends a few doors down got theirs.

We were able to enjoy great scenery - seeing the Hubbard Glacier from the ship was awesome! Our biggest disappointment was the food. So below par compared to every other cruise we have taken. Our last Norwegian cruise did not serve food like this. Some of the tastes, i. e., the meatloaf (the flavor was so spicy, with lentils in it, could not eat it), most of the main dishes were just not that good. The desserts? Our biggest disappointment. When your group says that the chocolate cookie is the best dessert, you know there is a problem. We ate in the seven seas restaurant one night and some of us had the pear tart. The shell was terrible tasting. Couldn't eat it. I would not cruise on this ship again specifically because of the food. Does anyone taste it before they serve it? If so, I can't imagine they thought it was good.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

The cabin was very nice. Roomy, lots of storage. Great view from the balcony.
