We chose this cruise for the ports visited. This was our first cruise and we took this to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Since we didn't have a honeymoon, we settled on this cruise and are very glad we did. Our balcony cabin was on the 9th deck, about mid way back through the ship. Our only big issue was with the ships plumbing which regular clogs/leaks. During our 12 day voyage, the plumbing leaked at least twice and the toilet clogged one time. The engineering and maintenance staff were quick to respond and fix the issues-I have a very sensitive sense of smell, and the urine odor was ever present. I wish that could be eradicated. I would have given this cruise a 5 star rating had it not been for this issue. The main dining room staff that we had, Aaron and Harina, were excellent and very attentive. Service within the Minstrel dining room was superb. Offerings within the Windjammer cafe were varied and offered something for just about every palate and nationality from American staples of hamburgers and hot dogs, Indian cuisine including curry's and stir fry's; English traditional offerings such as beans, roasted tomatoes and "dark" pudding for breakfast and cottage pies among others for lunch/supper.

The evening entertainment was not to our interests/tastes. For example there was a juggler one evening…while he was proficient, it felt like we were at a child's birthday party. I don't even know how to explain the evening entertainment the first night other than odd…it was so bad we left after the first 10 minutes.

The ship stopped at all advertised ports and our shore excursions were great-only wish they gave us more time to linger at each place to experience and soak in the environment and culture.
