We had a family vacation planned for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. I have heard positive things about Norwegian cruise line so we decided to try it. We have been on 3 Carnival Cruises in the past. All in all it was okay, but I did not like this cruise enough to go again on Norwegian.

The ship itself was nice. Very clean. The people were friendly. The specialty restaurants were very good. I guess my complaints would be:

The excursions we took. A beach trip to Horseshoe Beach. We paid $35 a person ( 9 of us) basically for a ride there. Then once at the beach we had to pay to get chairs and an umbrella, another $115. I feel as if they could at least add a chair to the trip, seeing the couple next to us paid $7 for a taxi to the beach from the ship.
