Cabin: Deluxe Stateroom with Verandah (slightly limited view)

Wanted a smaller ship - had cruised on Azamara last year and liked the small ship experience. Very pleased with the Crystal experience - food and service were outstanding. So happy we made dinner reservations months in advance - we would not have been happy if we had to wait on line for the 6:30 (too early) or 8:30 (too late) seating. We were able to get reservations for 7PM - do it early! The only snafu was the Meet and Mingle get together - the invitations were sent to our cabins, but when we all arrived at the designated meeting place, the staff was totally unaware of any get together. They did reschedule for another night, but since that date was near the end of our cruise - we did not attend.

Our cabin was 8127 - near the elevators, but we never heard any noise from them - the stateroom was extremely quiet. This verandah cabin was advertised as "slightly obstructed view" - not at all a problem - you had to look down off of your verandah to see the obstruction. Another plus - we had our own somewhat private deck just down the hall at the rear of the ship - made it easy to run from port to starboard when we were cruising the glaciers.
