Outstanding cruise! The ship was always very clean and sterile. The staff was the best I've ever seen. The staff really made us feel special and like we were the only two people on the ship! They catered to our every want and made our trip memorable. St. Maarten and Haiti were fun. The shore excursions were very well organized. We saw the Comedy Show 3 nights and each was hilarious. All of the shows including Grease, the Ice Skating show and the Water Shows were incredible. The fitness center is top notch with all the equipment and more you need. It was cool to run on the track and look over the water. The spa offers so many services, products, and seminars that you could literally spend your whole day there. It was my first cruise and we enjoyed it so much that we booked two more!
The absolute only negative on the entire trip was our port call in Puerto Rico. There's not a lot to do there and as we were leaving, a woman dressed in a volunteer uniform was begging for money on the street. She had a dog that was clearly drugged laying straight on its back on hard concrete with a pair of sunglasses on. Several of us stopped and complained to ships personnel but the ship was leaving and we felt helpless. If I had it my way and I were CEO of Royal Caribbean, I would stop pulling into Puerto Rico until the local authorities stopped animal abuse.
But back to the ship.....I can't say enough good things about the Harmony of the Seas and the crew and staff! Absolutely awesome cruise!
Our cabin was the perfect size. It was always clean and made up thanks to our awesome housekeeper. She even made us a different towel animal each day. The balcony really sealed the deal. There were times were we were so exhausted from activities that we wanted to relax and look at the water and our balcony provided us the perfect private location. We absolutely loved our cabin!
Fort Lauderdale is a fun town. Beautiful and clean. Lots to do!
We spontaneously added jet skiing to our day and had a blast. Who can complain about jet skiing in St Maarten? Awesome day!
