We chose this cruise as it departed from Rome where we had spent a few days. We loved the cities it went to and it was a good cross section of the Mediterranean. We also prefer not to have too many sea days. We had booked tours at all ports but could have done some by ourselves. We had beautiful weather and the sea was calm the whole cruise. The staff were professional in all areas of the ship and we could not complain about anyone. We enjoyed the meals in the dining room every night and decided not to utilise any of the specialty restaurants for this reason. We found the buffet very good and loved the pizza restaurant for lunch. Embarking and disembarking was easy with no delays at all. We found plenty of bars to sit quietly and have a drink. This had been a problem on other cruise lines with long waits for drinks. Royal Princess had plenty of well trained staff.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

We were very happy with our cabin. It was spacious and had a bathtub. The balcony was extra large. Our bed was comfortable as were the pillow. Plenty of cupboard space.
