The service as always, was excellent. The specialty restaurants were excellent also. The buffet however ,could have changed up their menu more. most of the shows were really good, but the singers on this cruise were not of the quality we have experienced in the past. the hot tubs were very sub par. I don't know why, but the temperature of the water in all of them had been turned way down, nothing more than warm bath water, and that's not what we were used to. Really wanted that hot tub experience, and was very disappointed, expecially since the pool was ice cold. The slots in the casino were paying poorer than usual also. We never expect to win but we usually get more play for our money than w did this time. Also, and this applies to all of norwegians casinos at sea; they need to update their machines on a much more frequent basis. The ship did embark right on time, a surprise. Don't get me wrong, my wife and i are still planning on many more cruises with norwegian(9 so far), and hope they will read this and make the necessary steps to improve.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony
Cabin MB 11178

Never had a mini suite before and would not ask for one again. The room design has the closet right next to the bed, about a foot from it, and made it difficult to get into. The extra sitting room was nice, but the bathroom, even thought it had a tub which was high and not easy to get into, had a toilet area only wide enough for a skinny person to sit. Had a balcony before and enjoyed it much more. Also, if you go for the pay for upgrade program and do get one, you don't get to pick your choice of room position on the ship. My wife and i prefer the front, near the casino and theatre, and were pushed to the back ship, a real pain, since she has trouble walking. Not happy about that at all, and will not go for it again.

King's Wharf

Third time there. Friendly people, clean, and you feel safe.
