We arrived at Southampton the day prior to sailing and were pleasantly surprised by the city. Lots to see and do. The SeaCity Museum is a must visit with its Titanic display. We stayed at the Holiday Inn which was a 5-10 minute walk to where the ship was docked.
We chose this cruise due to the ports.
We did all our port tours through SPB ( a private tour company), which was absolutely brilliant. A fraction of the cost of the ship tours. The small group tours, places visited, near new buses and guides were outstanding (thanks Tony).
Very happy with the cabin. Good size with a spacious bathroom. View was classified as obstructed but this was not a problem. Only downside was a lack of shelving in the wardrobe and bedside tables.
