Having sailed on Oceana before I am happy with the size of ship and well aware of her age.That said P&O maintain their fleet well this one included ( a re fit is due in Dec 2017 this year ) , P&O keep tight lipped on what their plan might be !!!
Cabin no wear in the carpet or fittings everything worked, Cabin Steward Chhering was exemplary, the best we have had, she addressing us by name at each greeting.
The Tui flight from Manchester departed early- well done Tui.

Outside Twin with Shower
Outside cabin at the very front - everything worked... Shower always hot water, yes the ship is 17 years old so a shower curtain - unlike Britannia which has the modern glass showere cubicle. Cabin steward first class

Dubrovnik
Ay the Pile Gate - climb the Walls, takes 2 hours... steep steps- nice cafes along the way overlooking the sea. to rest a while - it will be hot in summer.
The cable car is worth it too, if possible WALK down !!! a well marked path - trainers needed.
Malta (Valletta)
Walk along the quay to the right - take the LIFT up !!!! and walk along the pedestrian streets.
Split
A 5 minute walk from the ship, old town worth a walk around and if fit climb the tower - super views.
Venice
This was the only cloudy day and a huge shower in the afternoon. That said on this cruise why not get up at 05.30 !!!!!!!!!!! To the front of the ship with your camera, as she glides along the grand canal, the finest entrance to Venice you will ever have. Brilliant views of the Grand Canal Waterfront. The light was beautiful for photography.
