I chose this cruise for my family because we have cruised several times on NCL and have always had good experiences. We enjoy the specialty dining and entertainment. The itinerary was great.

My extended family group of 7 adults/young adults boarded the Epic in Rome. Embarkation went very smoothly. We were onboard by 1 pm.

This is the largest ship I have sailed on..I definitely prefer smaller ships like NCL Jewel Class and my favorite ship to date was the Crown Princess. I also missed an outside "Promenade" type deck..thankfully I did have a balcony to enjoy sea views.

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

I was not a fan of the cabin design. The shower/toilet split with frosted glass was awkward because it was in the doorway. Also, if you had the wardrobe door open it was impossible to pass. It just felt tight. There was good storage.
