I chose this cruise because the timing worked well with our long 4th of July weekend. We are a family with a school age child, so I was a little leery of some of the "booze cruse" aspects, but figured I was prepared :) At home we enjoy drinks and relaxing by the pool don't get me wrong. I just didn't want to feel like we were at a frat party, and we did not at all. I am a germ a phobe so my actual biggest concern was cleanliness. NOT a problem - our suite and the entire boat was clean. There were lots of families on board and the overall vibe was chill.

The staff is really amazing and I kept wondering if they were getting paid enough for all this hard work. Sigh.

Our suite was large and well equipped. I don't think I could ever cruise without a balcony, so the room type we booked was the only option. The TV kind of sucked, but we weren't there to watch TV. Our beds were very comfortable and we found ourselves sleeping later than we normally do at home.

Grand Suite

Large, quiet, comfortable. Amazing peaceful ocean to watch and listen to. The smallest thing about this room was the entry door :) TV is bad, but my daughter figured out how to not watch TV for a few days. Bonus.
