Background: Just got back from Allure of the Seas, Eastern Caribbean Cruise yesterday June 25-July 2, 2017. Just my Wife and I went on this cruise. I’m 56 and she’s 54. We live in Tampa Bay, Florida, so Port Everglades is just a 4 hour drive for us. We’ve been on RCCI before on the Enchantment OTS and the Jewel OTS, but never before on an Oasis Class vessel like the Allure OTS, which is something else entirely. I will pass along my personal experience and some suggestions and tips to hopefully help to make your cruise a little more enjoyable. This is going to be a long one, so get comfortable.

Embarkation: We arrived at Terminal 18 in Ft. Lauderdale at 12Noon. It was very busy at that time. We did our best to pack light so we could handle our bags without having to check them in and wait hours to get them. We parked in the huge parking lot right in front of Terminal 18.

TIP: If you park in the Terminal 18 lot, be sure to write down exactly where you park. It’s really big, so don’t rely on memory alone or you may live to regret it.
