Only had 4 days, live locally, so this was my only choice. Besides that, we enjoy Carnival Cruises, primarily because of the late night things to do, other than the Casino. When most ships are asleep, we still have the R-rated comedians, Piano Bar entertainment, etc. We've been on many cruises, and include a number of cruise lines (most owned by Carnival). ALL of them, except Carnival, 'close up' ship after main entertainment, except for the casino and maybe the disco. Our favorites on this cruise were the Piano Bar sing-a-longs, including a song sung by the Ship's Captain. Very cool. Then we would leave in favor of the two--not one--but two different adult comedians, then back to the piano, still going strong until about 1AM! While Carnival doesn't have the best cruise food in the world, it is more than acceptable to us. Only 'complaint' is that this ship doesn't have a lot of variety in their buffet at lunch. The hamburger bar, though, was excellent. Very gourmet burgers, with great French Fries. The pool bar had good drinks, where I could actually taste the liquor, and a ton of poolside servers. Never had to hunt one down, like on many other ships. At dinner, we ate in the anytime dining room, and had wonderful service by very nice, efficient servers. Kudos to Emiliano and Groger (sp?). All-in-all, a wonderful 4 days--way too short, but the best we could do, given scheduling issues.

Cabin 6E E148
Fine. Bathroom facilities excellent, except the toilet didn't flush right away. I'd push the button, and then continue to get dressed, and after a minute or two, bam! the toilet would flush. Weird, but it worked in the end.
