Amazing trip that exceeded our expectations is almost every way! We have cruised on several large ships with Celebrity, but this was our first ever River Cruise and we just loved the intimate setting, cabin with balcony, Danube itinerary/postcard scenery and just 175 guests on board. Lots of Brits and Canadians, Americans. Ages 55-75.

Because the river water level was so low (unusual for late June) we had to leave Nuremberg immediately so we could get though the locks on our way to Passau. Once there, water levels were no longer an issue. (We heard that other cruise lines did not make the same decision and they had to bus their passengers to another ship farther down the river, so everyone was grateful for such a quick and wise decision)

Kurt, our Cruise Director was extraordinary in leading the passengers and staff. Daily port talks before dinner each evening were informative about the next day's excursions. No problems changing our minds from one tour to another -- even last minute!! Cabins with balconies on Level 2 are comfortably large and elegant. We never sat in our balcony, as the floor to ceiling windows provided an incredible view. We were off the ship almost all day, every day on excursions (all included in price) and the local guides/ luxury buses that met us when we disembarked were truly knowledgeable and comfortable.
