This was our fourth cruise, our last one was about seven years ago on Oceania. We had heard a lot about Regent and were eager to experience their brand of luxury travel, which is inclusive; no signing, tipping etc.

As the cruise was high end and superbly rated, we expected near perfection. we were very disappointed.

The ship was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. The crew exceeded all expectations- from the service workers, to the matre'd, to all the help-the people were flawless. Their ability to make you feel as if you were the only ones on the cruise was so satisfying. They knew our names, after 2 days, where we liked to sit, our favorite dishes and likes and dislikes. They were ALWAYS smiling, helpful and friendly. There wasn't anything they wouldn't do for you with a genuine smile. Everyone from Ray, the cruise director, to the restaurant workers, to the bartender was attentive and extremely competent in their job. We loved our stewardess, Marleen, who was always there when we needed her. Our cabin was incredibly spotless all the time. An A+ rating there.
