We chose this cruise as a gift for our grandson's high school graduation. Nineteen of us booked the cruise. The itinerary was just what we wanted. This ship nickel and dimed us for everything. The costs of drink packages, bingo card packages, etc., were outrageous, therefore, we chose not to buy or play. Drink prices, ridiculous, shop prices were not cheaper at all. Sales were not sales at all. We found prices outrageous in all onboard shops. Not at all like other cruise lines. Food was good at buffet. Overcooked in main dining room, especially sea food. Waiters were amazing and did outstanding job. Friendly, professional and attentive. We had reservations for 19 every night and enjoyed it each night. Room was a Jr. Suite and was amazing. Our room attendant, friendly, efficient and thorough. Room was located perfectly for us from elevators and buffet/pool. Deck ten. Laundry night was extremely disappointing compared to other cruise lines. Expensive and very limited as to what they would launder. Rarely did we have "hot" water in the morning. Warm was reached after running shower for ten minutes or more. Elevators seemed to be on an odd rotation. Long intervals before one would stop, thus creating long lines especially on deck one.

Entertainment times were either too early or too late for us so missed most of the shows. Ship was nice. For seniors with walking difficulties, and women in high heels; the up and down of the walkways caused safety concerns. Especially the slick surfaces; the highly varnished wooden "bridge" on deck five, the strange part metal, part glass floor in Casino entrance.

The bus excursion on St. Maarten was the worst tour we've ever been on. The stops were terrible. The people unfriendly and rude. Prices ridiculous. Restaurant that was recommended by tour leader wouldn't even serve us or other table from our tour. I tried to get the attention of tour leader but she never check on how we were doing. Restaurant was very nasty. Scooter's. Bernice took us to poor areas only. Horrible beach, horrible restaurant, horrible bathrooms, horrible shopping. We cancelled our upcoming bus tours because of such a bad time. Shore excursion desk could have cared less when we reported it. None of the excursions offered shuttles for persons with walking difficulties like other cruise lines do. Most tour guides left us standing in the sun for 30 minutes before leaving the dock. Little seating available while waiting for group to assemble.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

beautiful cabin, roomy bathroom, roomy closet, bed comfortable, pillows comfortable, clean, pleasant, roomy, balcony. Loved the double desks. Tons of storage space. Nice sofa and chairs and sitting area. Terrible, terrible, terrible TV channel selections compared to other cruise lines. Couldn't get "hot" water in a.m. for shower. Took long time to even get warm water.
